Is Aaron Rodgers Clutch Enough For You Yet?

The defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers (12-0) won their 18th straight game yesterday and captured the NFC North. Green Bay was tied with less than a minute to play and 80 yards from the end zone against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium, but Aaron Rodgers wasn’t going to wait until overtime. Rodgers completed passes of 24, 27 and 18 yards in a lightning-quick five-play game winning drive to set up a 31-yard field goal for the final play of the game to win 38-35. The three-point victory was the Packers’ smallest winning margin this season but they remained undefeated and clinched a playoff berth.

The only team that can stop the Green Bay Packers from going perfect this season is the Green Bay Packers. The New York Giants were arguably the best team scheduled for the Packers to face for the rest of the regular season. What we saw Sunday was the most impressive installment yet in what has the makings of a truly historic season. I’m ready to say it. This is a 16-0 team. Whether they do it is entirely up to them.
